Trained under Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and part of the family associated with the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in Delhi, Madhavi Mudgal built a distinguished career as a soloist, choreographer and teacher, performing and touring worldwide, mentoring dancers including Arushi Mudgal, and receiving the Padma Shri among other honours.
