Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sandeep Narayan trained in Carnatic music from childhood, including under his mother, and later became a disciple of Sanjay Subrahmanyan, moving to Chennai to pursue a full-time career in classical music. He performs at the Chennai December Music Season and at sabhas and festivals across India and internationally.
