Agam is a contemporary Carnatic rock band from Bengaluru, led by vocalist Harish Sivaramakrishnan, known for fusing Carnatic ragas, kritis and classical devotional material with the energy and structure of progressive rock. They have built a large and devoted following across India.
Formed in the early 2000s in Bengaluru, Agam grew from a college and competition band into one of India's most successful contemporary fusion acts, known for songs and reinterpretations such as their take on the raga-based classical repertoire.
