Sid Sriram is a globally celebrated singer, trained rigorously in Carnatic music, who fuses it with soul, R&B and experimental pop and has become a chart-topping voice in Indian film music. Alongside his crossover career, he is a serious Carnatic vocalist who gives traditional classical concerts.
Born in 1990 and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sid Sriram trained in Carnatic music from childhood, including with his mother, and studied at Berklee College of Music. He became one of India's most sought-after film playback voices across Tamil, Telugu and other languages, performed at Coachella, and in 2025 launched the platform The Hybridist with Warner Music India to spotlight South Indian sounds, all while continuing to give Carnatic classical concerts in India and abroad.
