Manish Shukla (born 24 June 1971 in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh) is an Indian Urdu poet of national and international repute. A postgraduate in Anthropology from the University of Lucknow, he is a Uttar Pradesh state civil service officer who has held posts including Finance Officer at the U.P. Academy of Administration and Management and Director of the Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow. He has written Urdu ghazals for over two decades, recites regularly at national and international mushairas, and his recitations are aired on All India Radio and television.
