Dhruv Visvanath is a musician, singer-songwriter and producer from New Delhi, known for his percussive, fingerstyle acoustic guitar playing and emotionally uplifting electro-acoustic songs. Named to Acoustic Guitar magazine's list of great young guitarists, he is one of India's most distinctive contemporary guitarists.
Delhi-born and widely travelled in childhood, Dhruv Visvanath began on piano and guitar as a boy and, in 2014, was named to Acoustic Guitar magazine's 30 Great Guitarists Under 30. His debut album Orion (2015) and the project and album The Lost Cause (2018), the latter chosen by Rolling Stone among the best Indian albums of 2018, established him as a leading young voice, and he later reached a wide audience as a finalist on the series My Kind of Country and as a Coke Studio Bharat collaborator.
