The Story

Organizer

Founded in 1977 with the radical idea of a museum built by and about communities rather than around a collection, the Manav Sangrahalaya invited tribal and rural people to construct their own habitats on its Bhopal campus, and grew into a national centre for anthropology, folk culture and the living traditions of India.
