Jaswinder Singh is an Indian ghazal singer based in Mumbai, known for a warm, expressive voice and a repertoire rooted in the classic ghazal, alongside Sufi and Punjabi songs. The son of composer Kuldeep Singh and a disciple of the legendary Jagjit Singh, he has carried the ghazal tradition to audiences across the world.
Born in Mumbai to the composer Kuldeep Singh, Jaswinder Singh trained in classical music and under Jagjit Singh, and began his ghazal career in 1993, releasing albums including Yours Truly, Dilkash and Ishq Nahin Asaan on Tips and Saregama. Performing over three hundred concerts across the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and the Gulf, and singing in productions such as Kaifi Aur Main and Ghalibnaama, he has become a respected torch-bearer for the classic ghazal.
