The Story
OrganizerEstablished in 1932 and later housed in a purpose-built building, the museum grew as the custodian of Odisha's archaeological and cultural heritage, assembling sculpture from the region's great temple sites, coins, copperplate grants and a nationally important collection of palm-leaf manuscripts.
