The Sri Ram Centre for Performing Arts is a theatre and performing-arts institution in the Mandi House cultural district of New Delhi. With a resident repertory company, a theatre-training programme and auditoria that host much of the capital's stage, it has for decades been a key part of Delhi's theatre ecosystem, nurturing practitioners and presenting Hindi and multilingual theatre in the heart of the city's arts district.
Established in the 1960s as part of the flowering of institutional theatre in the capital, the Sri Ram Centre built a repertory company and a training programme and became one of the anchors of the Mandi House theatre district. Its stages have hosted generations of Delhi's actors and directors, and its repertory and festivals have sustained the city's dramatic life.
