Atta Galatta is a beloved independent bookstore and cultural hub in the Koramangala area of Bengaluru, founded in 2012 by Lakshmi Subodh and Subodh Sankar. Known for its focus on independent and Indian-language writing, it has grown into one of the city's most active cultural spaces, hosting over two thousand five hundred events, from book launches, poetry readings and storytelling to theatre, art exhibitions, film screenings and workshops. It co-presents the annual Atta Galatta-Bangalore Literature Festival Book Prize.
