OrganizerAn acclaimed artist in his own right, Krishnamachari co-founded the Kochi-Muziris Biennale in 2012 with the artist Riyas Komu, creating a landmark contemporary-art event that put Kerala and India on the global art map. As artist, curator and institution-builder he has championed contemporary Indian art and widened its audiences at home and abroad.
